Marie Antaya
About
Marie has owned and led Eclectic Communications since 2008, along with the team of consultants, facilitators, instructional designers, and writers who deliver its work. She sees the connection between people, communication, and performance, and helps organizations understand what is really happening so they can decide what to do next.
As Owner and Director, she sets the direction of the practice, builds and holds client relationships, and leads teams and large-scale projects across government, corporate, and non-profit sectors. She brings over 25 years of experience across education, training, facilitation, consulting, and public sector leadership to that work, and keeps it practical, relevant, and aligned with what clients are actually trying to accomplish.
Marie founded the Manitoba Learning and Development Network in 2018 and has served on the boards of Plain Language Association International (PLAIN) and the Seed of Life Alliance. She holds certificates in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Manitoba, Workshop Facilitation from the University of Winnipeg, and Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University. She is certified in EQ-i 2.0 Emotional Intelligence and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and is a Certified Training and Development Professional.
