Amanda brings close to a decade of experience in writing, editing, and communications across the non-profit, arts, and technology sectors. As a Content Writer and Editor, she works with clients from early project development through to clear, engaging writing and rigorous editing. A freelance communications consultant since 2019, she writes regularly for The Uniter and previously led Maven, a Tech Manitoba initiative supporting women in the province's tech sector. She is known for a collaborative approach that helps organizations find the clearest version of what they want to say.

Amanda holds a Diploma in Creative Communications from Red River College Polytech, with a major in public relations, and a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from the University of Manitoba. She also spent several years as an art director in the Manitoba film industry.
