The Eclectic Studio

The Eclectic Studio

Tagline
Bring something real. Leave with progress on it.

Some work is easier to move forward with other people in the room. A writer stuck on a proposal. A facilitator building a workshop that hasn’t quite come together. The Eclectic Studio is where that work gets done, in the company of people working through the same kind of thing.

Each studio session is built around a specific type of work. Writing. Session Design. Policy. Others, added as they meet your group’s needs. You come with something in progress, not a blank page, and you leave with real movement on it. This is not training. Nobody is teaching a skill in the abstract. It’s a working session, with structure and skilled facilitation, built around what you actually brought.

What this can include

  • Small groups working on a shared type of task, alongside a skilled facilitator
  • A structured working session, not a lecture or a course
  • Time built in for individual work, peer input, and facilitator guidance
  • Something real to show for the time. A draft moved forward. A workshop design that’s ready to run.

Who it's for

People who learn best by doing the actual work, with the right people around them and enough structure to keep the day productive. If you already have something to build, and what you need is time, structure, and a few sharp perspectives, the Eclectic Studio is built for that.

The Eclectic difference

The Eclectic Studio sessions are led by the same facilitators behind thousands of workshops and years of writing, editing, and workshop design work. You’re not workshopping in the abstract. You’re working alongside people who do this for a living.
