Kari has more than 20 years of experience as an educator, instructor, and editor, specializing in business writing. As an Instructor and Writing Coach, she has delivered over 1,000 workshops for Eclectic Communications since 2008, working with clients across the private and public sectors, as well as educational institutions and all levels of government. She is known for her practical, results-oriented approach, helping participants improve clarity, structure, and effectiveness in their writing. She also teaches in the Plain Language and Editing Certificate programs at Simon Fraser University.

Kari holds a Teaching English as a Foreign Language/Teaching English as a Second Language certificate and has completed the Plain Language Certificate through Simon Fraser University. She is also a Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP).
