The Eclectic Exchange Convivium is a full day of real conversation. One room, thinking out loud together — building on each other's ideas, sitting with difficult questions, and leaving with something that was genuinely made in the room.

Convivium comes from the Latin: a living together, a shared feast. The feast is the conversation. You'll spend the day around tables, thinking out loud with other people, building on each other's ideas, and making something in the room together.

The Convivium grows out of the Bring Back the Humans campaign — a fall 2026 exploration of what we're losing and what's still possible. This is where the conversation continues, in person, with a room full of people asking the same questions you are.

Here's what's on the menu.
8:30am – 4:30pm, with room built in to breathe.

8:30 – 9:00	Arrival and welcome Coffee, snacks, unstructured time. The container of trust begins before the agenda does.
9:00 – 9:30	Opening The central question: as we make things easier, people are slipping through the cracks. What are we here to do about it?
9:30 – 10:30	Conversation session Questions worth asking. Tables work through questions together.
10:30 – 10:45	Break Snacks and informal conversation. The room keeps talking.
10:45 – 12:15	The Eclectic Exchange · Session 1 Two simultaneous peer learning groups. First session with full peer discussion — no expert at the front, just the people in the room doing the thinking together.
12:15 – 1:15	Lunch Catered. Unstructured. Sit where you want. The conversation continues.
1:15 – 2:45	The Eclectic Exchange · Session 2 Second session. Deeper into the material with the trust built in the morning.
2:45 – 3:00	Break Afternoon snacks. Last breather before the close.
3:00 – 4:00	Full group recap Everyone back together. What stayed with you? What are you taking back? What's one thing you'll do differently?
4:00 – 4:30	Close Good days don't always end on time, so we've given ourselves a buffer.

What is the Eclectic Exchange?

The Eclectic Exchange is Eclectic Communications' peer learning program — small groups, real conversations, a container of trust where people feel safe enough to actually show up. The Convivium is the Exchange at full scale: one full day, two sessions.

Is there a refund policy?

Full refunds are available up to 14 days before the event. After that, registrations are transferable to another person.

Is French language delivery available?

Eclectic Communications has bilingual delivery capacity. If there is sufficient demand for a French-language stream, we'll make it happen. Let us know when you register.
