Talk To Yourself In The Right Language

We often put a lot of time and effort into enhancing our skills to communicate effectively with others, both professionally and personally. Yet we spend little, if any, time enhancing our ability to communicate effectively with our self.

During our unconscious self-talk, we describe who we are as people… our value in both our personal and professional lives as well as what we can or cannot accomplish. Our self-talk tends to become habitual and, as a result, creates belief systems that in turn influence our attitudes, our behaviours, and our self-esteem.

What type of conversations are you having with your self? Are they working for you or against you? Through this lively, interactive session, you’ll have the opportunity to discover the answers to those questions.

Control The Speed Of The Merry-Go-Round

Do you ever feel weighed down by the endless demands of work, family, chores? Do you sometimes feel that life is like a merry-go-round spinning faster and faster, and you can’t get off? With the hectic pace of today’s world, these feelings are common. More and more people are experiencing high levels of stress and the detrimental effects on health and relationships that go along with it.

But there are ways to put the brakes on the merry-go-round. Learn eight easy techniques you can use on a daily basis for busting the stress factor.

Creating Balance In An Unbalanced World

Society places a high value on commitment and success at work, so there is a tendency for us to develop our identity according to our work. That’s fine to a point... but as human beings we are much more than our professional identities. If we become too focused on our commitment to work, we risk failing in other areas of our lives.

Our life is like a tree with many branches – only one of those branches is work. If we don’t nurture all the branches, they will begin to wither and die.

What’s the balance like on your tree of life? Take an active role in exploring techniques for creating balance by using “tidbits” of time through adjusting your energy and focus.

Step Up To The Plate... Hit Personal and Professional Home Runs

Do you feel stuck in a rut? Do you find yourself saying “If only...” “I wish I could...” Have you developed habits that prevent you from moving forward and achieving your goals? As the proverb says...

The more you do of what you’re doing
The more you’ll get of what you’re getting.

So...it’s time to look after the forward motion you want in your life. During this lively session, you’ll discover powerful strategies for getting unstuck ... and for hitting your own personal and professional home runs.

The Power Of Choice - Are You Using It?

One of our greatest gifts as human beings is the gift of conscious choice. Yet, we often don’t recognize the extent to which we have choices and the sense of being in control of our lives that comes with it. Instead, we often allow ourselves to slide into maintenance mode and simply make it through each day, based on old and unproductive habits.

Are you using the power of choice to enhance your life on a daily basis? Are you choosing attitudes and belief systems that will help you achieve what is important to you?

Managing Your Time and Priorities

When you're at work, do you feel as though you're on a treadmill and someone else is pushing the on button? Are your personal priorities so far on the back-burner that they are out of sight? Do you feel there is simply not enough time to get everything done?

An important concept to consider is that time is constant! We each have 168 hours per week – no more and no less. So, in reality, we have all the time we’ll ever get.

Time is a continuum in which events succeed one another from
past through present to future.

The key to achieving your priorities lies in managing yourself in relation to time and events. Recognizing the importance of the control you have in relation to events will give you the power to set priorities and to manage your time and yourself in order to achieve those priorities.

In this interactive session, you will learn the strategies for gaining control of the events that compete for your professional and personal time.
